Wheeler Winston Dixon was part of the New York underground experimental film scene in the 1960s, and has been making films steadily ever since. His complete film work is archived in the permanent collection of The Museum of Modern Art. On July 6th, at Filmhuis Cavia, Amsterdam, Dixon will present, live, in person, his videos American Dream, Look, Prison State, The Catastrophe Series, Real & Unreal and previously unscreened new video works.

Alchemy Film & Moving Image's Autumn residency programme will take place October-November 2018 and is offered for artists working with film and moving image, in partnership with the cultural retreat centre Café Tissardmine, on the edge of the Sahara Desert in Morocco.
The UMW Media Wall is now accepting submissions (videos and generative programs) for the 2018-2019 academic year. The Wall is a unique public exhibition space for moving image art. Check out the blog for all of the specs and more details.

Applications are now open for the 19th edition of Fiaticorti, the international short film festival based in Istana, Treviso, Italy. The call for entries is open until August 3, 2018.
The Festival is organized by the Municipality of Istrana (TV) and designed by a group of young people under 30 years of age.
