Alternative 2023 is officially open for submissions to the international competition. Alternative Film/Video 2023 will take place from 6-9 December at Students’ City Cultural Center in Belgrade.

Alternative Film Video was founded in 1982 at Academic Film Center in Belgrade as a meeting place for artists to explore the creative possibilities of film and video. It is one of the oldest manifestations of its kind in Europe.

    Alternative film/video is the festival of Yugoslav alternative film and video. The aim of the festival is to document and define in theory the trends, to point at the values and new creative possibilities in the fields of alternative film and video. All autors of alternative film and video have the right to participate.
