  • Fracto - Submission Deadline Extended + Streaming

    It is with a heavy heart that, due to the corona pandemic and following government guidelines, we must announce the postponement of the fourth edition of FRACTO - Experimental Film Encounter from May to September 2020.

    However, on a lighter note, we have extended the deadline for submissions to the 1st of July!

  • 22nd edition of the Paris Festival of Different & Experimental Cinemas

    Call out for films and videos submissions for the upcoming 22nd edition of Paris Festival for Different and Experimental Cinemas (October 7-18, 2020). The festival is organised by Collectif Jeune Cinéma every year. CJC - Collectif Jeune Cinéma - was founded in 1971 following the New York Filmmakers's Cooperative footsteps. CJC is a cooperative for distribution with the aim to promote visual and cinematic experimental practices.

  • CJC makes over 250 films available online during quarantine

    In compliance with the health measures relating to the COVID-19 epidemic, the offices of the Collectif Jeune Cinéma have been closed since Monday, March 16, 2020, for an indefinite period, which we hope will be as short as possible.

    As we come to terms with a health crisis that might mean long-term closures for New York City cinemas, we must meet the challenges ahead with mutual aid and solidarity. These closures have been necessary steps in the effort to slow the spread of COVID-19, but many hourly workers will be paying an immediate price for the well-being of our city.

    Daniel & Clara's Moving Image Salon is a monthly gathering in London for artists working in the fields of moving image and experimental filmmaking. It is a relaxed and open space for conversation and exchange about contemporary moving image practices, a networking event and critical forum.
