Asian Artist Moving Image Platform is pleased to announce our first Projections which is an online screening platform of artists and filmmakers moving image works. Founded in 2018, AAMP is a curatorial platform working for Asian Artist Moving Image works based on research collective with artists, filmmakers and curators in Asia.
As a part of AAMP, Projections is a long-term, moving images and cinema’s online series of film programs by invited curators and artist filmmakers, scholars. From 5 June AAMP has been presenting a series of moving image works from Asian artists and filmmakers for the next one month, a three-part film program curated by Nguyen Trinh Thi (Vietnam), Shireen Seno and John Torres (Philippines), Sung Nam Han (South Korea/Japan)
Our first projections has featured films by Ta Minh Duc, Nguyen Hai Yen, Siu Pham, Truong Cong Tung, Nguyen Trinh Thi, Glenn Barit, Mervine Aquino, Lesley-Anne Cao, Shireen Seno, Gym Lumbera, Shuhei Nishiyama, Miaoyuan Long and Zen Lu, Sung Nam Han
