The selected works deal with the reappropriation, recycling and remixing of media elements of our daily life and existing works through singular videodances!

A film is a cut in a cut in a cut.Lygia Clark escaped with the paint out of the frame, created in the cut, an escape cut.The screen is a frame, a defined space, that if the contents have escaped by a cut, the limit becomes the whole.
The Festival Ecrã is an event of audiovisual experiments that thinks a different way to see the work of collaborative form between curators and participants.

Thursday February 15th, 19:30h Masterclass with Helga Fanderl
German filmmaker Helga Fanderl films her films in Super8, camera in hand, with no postproduction. She also carefully constructs her own programmes of screenings for each occasion and presents them in person. In this performative talk, she will explain in detail her filmic practice and illustrate it with a series of pieces that she will screen herself in Super8.

The One Minute Artists Moving Image Festival North Wales takes place Friday 23rd, Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th February 2018. Throughout the weekend an eclectic mix of artists moving image made by local, national and international artist/film makers will be screening at various venues including BALACLAFA CARN, Pitchblack Paradise and in the CARNafan (situated on Castle Square, Caernarfon).
