The West Virginia Mountaineer Short Film Festival returns this spring for its 9th edition for a two-day event on April 14 & 15, 2023. We’re looking for unique, boundary-pushing works in video, animation, and film. Send us your newest work! Deadline for entries is March 10, 2023.

The Festival ECRÃ is an event that aims to ferment the culture of audiovisual, through experiences that question the notion and production of the moving image, encouraging the individual to express their ideas and thus democratize artistic creation.
From the cinema experience to installations and performances, where different states of contemplation are put into practice: narrativity and immersion, video and light, games and debates.

The Monticello Park Film Festival has announced the first edition of it's film festival focused exclusively on experimental, avant-garde, and non-traditional cinema from emerging artists.
The cliché has it that in near death experiences we get to see our lives flash past us in a moment. Using the metaphors of water and walking, the films in this programme present different ways of visualizing the stream of thought and the concatenation of images in memory.
