    The 2022 edition of the ESFF with more short film screenings in Edinburgh,
    International Film Festival showcases, trophies, awards and industry networking.

    We're also programming showcases of our best films for our international film festival partners across Europe.

  • Tune in to Green - Exhibition Six

    Diorama Room Arts is accepting short films/videos, from around the world, that focus on a dialogue between humans and nature, for its sixth "Tune in to Green" online exhibition. The exhibition will be available for rent at Vimeo On Demand. IF conditions are favorable, this one may not only be online, but also shown at an outdoor event in Austin, Texas in the Spring.

    The theme for this show is Spring, nurturing, motherhood, or nature in general.
    Experimental, Documentary, and Animated short films/videos are welcome.

  • Repeated Apparitions

    Repeated Apparitions is a programme of screenings, performances and events that muse over repetitive cycles of oppression and their social invisibility and normalisation. Through a shared exploration of radical images, wild experimental sounds and evocative texts, the programme looks at how repetition can be used to create processes of reparation and renewal, disrupt the past and imagine new realities.

  • Experiments in Film: The Cinema of Edward Owens

    Working in the late 60s, Edward Owens created a series of films which were largely forgotten until re-discovery in 2009. This is the first chance to see all four of Owens' films together in the UK.

  • Scratch Projection: Klonaris/Thomadaki - Double Labyrinthe

    To mark the acquisition of several short films by Maria Klonaris and Katerina Thomadaki into its catalogue, Light Cone presents a special screening of the duo's first feature film, Double Labyrinthe (1976), accompanied by two rarely-seen short films. This mythical film, the cinematographic debut of Klonaris/Thomadaki in France, was screened for the first time in May 1976 at the University of Paris I, in the presence of Michel Journiac and Dominique Noguez.
