  • Call for entries: Kodama Film Fest

    The Kodama Film Festival is looking for short films that explore the physical and spiritual landscapes of the planet, showing the relationship with nature and its spaces, its inhabitants, its rhythms, its movements. 

    General topics that may be touched upon include: the relationship between architectural and natural space, portraits of rural life, tension between local and global communities, attitudes towards migration and diversity, the ecological transformation of the planet due to climate change, and the possibilities for sustainable development.

    We similarly accept a variety of mediums and formats, including but not limited to: narrative films, documentaries, video-performances, screendance, music videos, audiovisual self-portraits, and visual poetry.

    The session is offered as an invitation to a tangible experience of shared present through three works produced entirely in the Super-8 format.

    The first draws a complete circle around the solar year, trying to reveal the specificity of each light situation, questioning its reproducibility.

    The second condenses, guided by the energy of movement, the intensity and awareness of the practice on both sides of the camera.
