    Call out for films and videos submissions for the upcoming 19th edition of Paris Festival for Different and Experimental Cinemas (October 2017). The festival is organised by Collectif Jeune Cinéma every year. CJC - Collectif Jeune Cinéma - was founded in 1971 following the New York Filmmakers's Cooperative footsteps. CJC is a cooperative for distribution with the aim to promote visual and cinematic experimental practices. Along with the organising of regular montly screenings, CJC is also the organiser of the Paris Festival for Different and Experimental Cinéma.

    »Black Matters« is the first full solo exhibition of American artist, Aldo Tambellini, who is one of the pioneers of intermedia art of the 1960s and 1970s. Aldo Tambellini (born 1930 in Syracuse, NY, USA) lives and works in Cambridge. Together with Otto Piene, he founded the »Black Gate Theatre« in 1967, which was the first »Electro-Media« theatre of New York.

    Requirements for entries

    A work, or series of related works should be able to be screened in continuous playback, totaling between 15 and 50 minutes in duration (longer works may also be screened, but our series is designed to showcase as many contemporary artists as possible).
