Fracto is a 2 day encounter inviting filmmakers to present their work and discuss contemporary means of audiovisual experimentation, on May 20th/21st at ACUD macht neu, Berlin.
The 2017 edition of Courtisane Festival (March 29-April 2, Ghent, Belgium) will feature as 'Artists in focus' two very different as essential figures of German filmmaking: those of documentarian Peter Nestler and experimental filmmaker Ute Aurand.

Close-Up and Unconscious Archives are delighted to present a selection of recent 16mm films by Berlin based artist-fillmmakers Anja Dornieden and Juan David González Monroy - including their dual-projector "Traumatoscope" performance New Museum of Mankind.
This session is dedicated to the Cinema of the Body by Maria Klonaris and Katerina Thomadaki, two Greek artists based in France who take us to a field where women are liberated from patriarchal ties and discover themselves in a free territory.
Process is the first experimental film festival in the Baltics dedicated to experimental, analog filmmaking. Taking place on the 22nd to 25th of March in Riga, Latvia, the festival will provide a four day intensive programme, consisting of film screenings, talks, discussions, lectures and live expanded cinema performances.

Analogue Recurring is an experimental screening event, which illuminates the mechanical processes and materiality inherent in analogue film. Embracing a DIY ethos the event is a platform to discuss and enjoy contemporary celluloid film in the digital age. A field continuously redefining it’s self as durational and durable. Screening formats are 16mm and super-8 only.
