Between May 23rd and May 26th the third edition of the Experimental Film Encounter Fracto is taking place at Kunsthaus ACUD in Berlin-Mitte. The main programme gathers more than 70 film and video works by artists and filmmakers selected from an international open call that has received more than 800 submissions. The selection will be presented in a series of curated programmes. Some of the filmmakers will be present to talk about their work. The screening program will be supplemented by live-performances, workshops and concerts at ACUD Club and Studio.

With guest curator Federico Rossin, this special program celebrates Jean Painlevé, surrealist poet of wildlife, comparing his visionary explorations of the animal world with those by filmmakers from the American and European avant-garde.
