Chicago Filmmakers’ PerforMedia programming originated in the 1980’s as the groundbreaking “Time Arts” series. By bringing together artists across an eclectic spectrum of genres and disciplines, including film, video, music, performance art/theater, and poetry — converged or in tandem, this historic series helped to bring a new, broader audience to Chicago Filmmakers.

Included in this program are: EPHEMERAL ORPHANAGE, an award winning animation by Lisa Barcy; performances by writer/ playwright Barrie Cole; a reading by Steven L. Jones from his new book, MURDER BALLADS, OLD AND NEW accompanied by special musical guests; a performance by performance artist Heather Lindahl; selected video works by Robert Metrick; and more to be announced!
