DOC-ART Gallery presents Dmitry Frolov, director and cameraman, one of the leaders of Russian art-house experimental cinema, multiple winner of International Festivals of author's cinema, winner of the Taffy Award (for cinematography). The director will present a program of 5 short films: "Above the Lake", "Time Ago", "Wellspring", "The Birth of Music", "Last Love".

The 2021 Film and Video Poetry Symposium Call for Entries

Submissions are now open for The 2021 Film And Video Poetry Symposium.

Poets, writers, filmmakers, media artists, and digital artists are called to submit their work to the 4th Annual Film and Video Poetry Symposium.

The film festival and symposium will celebrate and screen a large scope of film and video projects developed primarily through the medium of poetry. FVPS will host a media gallery, a series of panels, guest speakers, and public dialogues regarding film and video poetry over the course of the symposium.

PlaceM Film Festival is happening online on March 19-22. The festival is proposing experimental works that are Crossing the boundary between photography and film.

Two programs, curated by Julie Tremble & Guillaume Vallée, present recent film & video from Vidéographe (Montreal, CA).

With work by Maxime Corbeil-Perron, Nayla Dabaji, Bryony Dunne, Eric Gaucher, Philippe Hamelin, Mike Hoolboom, Kim Kielhofner, Jinyoung Kim, Frédéric Moffet, Sarah Seené, Arshia Shakiba.
