Free event hosting short film screenings and a new, artist-led installation: 'H.E.R.M - I.S'
Back in 2016, LE’s first event took place in a shipping container on the grounds of the University of East London. The festival was founded to be a platform with no programming, no competition and no prizes, screening in alternative locations and free for all to watch. Now, staying strong to this ethos, London Experimental’s seventh edition will be taking place on Sunday the 21st of January at Peckham Arches.
This new edition creates a space to celebrate international experimental cinema, featuring an international body of moving image films. The day will showcase an eclectic selection of experimental and moving image films; as well as a video art installation H.E.R.M.I.S, part of the new festival category; Black Box // White Cube, which encourages filmmakers to curate an exhibition alongside the film screenings at the festival.
Sign up for your free ticket on londonexperimental.org, for an evening of films, art, music, food and drink in a unique location in the private archways of Peckham Arches, South London.
