    Since the beginning of this millennium, Michael Robinson has been making film and video as trigger-objects for basic emotions. His work is a compilation of complex riddles, trails leading to ambiguous regions, places meant for the hard task of feeling. His narratives are deeply sensorial, warranting themselves difficult to translate into words.
    Oporto is now presenting the film "You don't bring me flowers", a sublime diving experience into a succession of nostalgic images, centerfold pages from vintage National Geographic magazines.

    In the realm of visuality, the concept of the blind spot defines the space of the non-visible. In the process of observing the city, certain views dissolve, thereby revealing elements of construction in both urban space and human perception. As a temporal platform in Skopje, Macedonia, Blind Spot Skopje presents cinematic and discursive positions of self- and outside perception regarding urban space and its blank spots. The exhibition, theoretical discourses, and a film project, that explores urban spaces in Skopje, condense into a map with known and unknown coordinates interfering with each other and being re-arranged by various artistic strategies.

    Saturday 26th March will see an offline manifestation of DVblog. A 45 minute programme of artists moving image will be screening continuously at The Museum of Club Culture from 1pm - 5pm

    The feminist reception and production of pornography has had a complicated trajectory, a discourse of representation often bound by the logic of the male gaze. The Hole Picture brings together a selection of socio-sexual films & videos by artists Barbara Hammer, A.K. Burns and A.L. Steiner that celebrate desire and redefine notions of queer sexuality and the lesbian body. Presenting a multigenerational overview of representation, this screening and panel discussion will focus on contemporary artistic practices which incorporate avant-garde visions of sexuality and erotics, dissecting the trope of pornography itself. Screening will be followed by a discussion with the filmmakers, moderated by art historian Kelly Dennis, author of Art/Porn: A History of Seeing and Touching.
