[b]Helen Hill[/b], filmmaker, was killed at her home in New Orleans last January 4th. An unidentified intruder invaded the familiiar home and shot Helen fatally in the neck and wounded her husband Paul Gailiunas.

Hill was an experimental animator; her shorts have been shown in numerous festivals across North America. She recently received a grant from the Rockefeller Foundation for her film [i]The Florestine collection[/i]. She is also know for her book [url=http://nomediakings.org/ThrRecipes.htm ][i]Recipes for disaster[/i][/url], a compilation of "recipes" on how to chemically treat film.
