Open Call Tehnocene Tempelhof 2024 Digital Festival

This year, as we mark 100 years since the prophetic visions of Metropolis heralded the Technocene, we invite artists to synchronize their creativity and freedom with a futuristic-industrial flair Venue. Digital and hybrid artists from around the globe, are invited to showcase the symbiosis of human and machine, art and industry, past and future.
La 15ª edición de la (S8) Mostra de Cinema Periférico (A Coruña, España) comenzará con un homenaje al fallecido cineasta estadounidense Kenneth Anger, figura reconocida de la temática ocultista y esotérica en el cine. La imagen del festival se inspira en cartas del Tarot como El Mago, La Fuerza y La Rueda de la Fortuna, símbolos que se conectan con la exploración de la magia y el misticismo de Anger.

This programme is a survey of some of Stephen Littman's videos alongside sequences from the work of David Larcher (1942-2023) that Littman has compiled. Larcher was a maverick filmmaker whose epic work includes the legendary Mare's Tail (1969) and Monkey's Birthday (1975). Larcher sought Littman's advice when he moved from filmmaking to video in the early 1980s.
Transient Visions: Festival of the Moving Image was established in 2013. It celebrates the cutting edge art of the moving image through screenings, exhibitions, performances, and other festival events, providing a cultural experience that enriches the local community. The Festival works as a venue to meet artists in this region and beyond, exchanging and sharing ideas, while developing mutual relationship.
