Over the last 15 years Kerry Baldry has been compiling and organising screenings of artists moving image titled One Minute. An eclectic mix of work made within the duration of one mInute by artists at varying stages of their careers. CosmiX explores the multitude of the experimental through the third edition of its festival dedicated to this outbound cinema genre, revealing a programming that explore on two days its abundant history and its rich actuality. It will take place on Friday and Saturday May 3rd and 4th 2024 at the movie theatre Saint-André des Arts in the heart of the latin area in Paris. The first evening will be dedicated to short stories and the second to two projection sessions of movies rooted in the experimental cinema history.
Images Festival is honored to present the 37th annual festival Rehearsing Refusal taking place from April 11-16, 2024 in Toronto, Canada. Rehearsing Refusal presents moving images from around the world that emphasize resistance and the subversion of oppressive systems through experimental film. Programs will debut at Innis Town Hall with additional programs online and at off-site venues: VTape, Mercer Union and TIFF. Tickets are on sale now at imagesfestival.com.

CultureHub busca propuestas audiovisuales de creadores del mayor número posible de países y culturas. CultureHub unirá las propuestas para crear una retransmisión en directo de varios días de piezas cortas de videoarte que serán interrumpidas por segmentos en directo de productores internacionales.
Valentina Alvarado Matos (Maracaibo, 1986) y Carlos Vásquez Méndez (Santiago de Chile, 1975) inician en 2017 una suerte de «colectivo sin nombre». Desde entonces, las artistas, ambas cineastas, han trabajado de un modo individual y de un modo conjunto, desarrollando un cuerpo de obra versado en la imagen fílmica a través de dos intereses compartidos. Por un lado, la autorreferencialidad cinematográfica; es decir, un cine que nos habla del propio cine. Por otro, una narrativa emocional y sensible que surge a través de la vivencia.
