My landlord actually put me on to this site, how it works is you upload stock footage to the site and when it is purchased you are given a commission, according to him it can pay quite well.
If like me you have stacks of tapes full of rushes/raw material it seems like a good way to bring in some much needed funds while working on less commercial projects.

Though the prices I've seen are a bit expensive. I think they should establish a range of prices per second or frame (even let you buy just a concrete segment).
P.S.: You on the Jodo box too? ;D
People tend to set there own prices, so I guess some users get a bit over enthusiastic, seen 4 second clips for $100+ ? your probably right that some regulation would be better.
