I haven't seen anything by Kotting (yet) but I'll try to find out about him :) Do you say there is a DVD available? Is it on sale anywhere or it's a limited distribution thing?
As for the artists I mentioned, I selected them first because I ahve their names fresh in mind. Both are featured in lowave's "Different cinema vol.2" compilation, though I had the pleasure to know about Fouchard's films a couple of years ago when they were projected in a small independent venue here in Madrid. A rare chance!
Shiho Kano's work is amazing. She has a very powerful cinematography, that she uses to explore interior spaces, forms and light. Kano plays with the concept of absence through objects. These are captures from "Lily on the glass":
Fouchard is a completely different filmmaker. He works with light and shadow and his films are between the oniric and the narrative. They usually have a heavily grainy texture. These are captures from "Flamen'co":
