    A portrait is an image heavy with meaning. Multilayered and multifaceted, it has a visual, psychological, material, emotional and spiritual dimension.

    Moving Body Festival platform is dedicated to connecting artists, mediums and audiences through art that shares a strong choreographic sensibility.

    The COVID-19 pandemic affects all spheres of both our personal and professional lives, presenting the performing arts with enormous challenges and an urgent need to re-organize their activities, to rethink their role and place in society. Therefore, in 2021, through the instrument of choreography and the lens of the festival platform Moving Body, we want to find those new readings of the current environmental and socio-political challenges of our time, which will become a starting point for our discussions during the main program of the edition in November 2021.

    The TRANSFER Architecture Video Award  is an independent award, launched in 2019, to recognise the most creative and innovative short films in the field of architecture, city or landscape worldwide.
    The 2019 edition of the Award attracted the participation of over 300 videos from more than 50 countries.
    Video is becoming increasingly instrumental in analysing architecture and the human environment, and is directly related to the digital networks that underpin contemporary communication.

    Registrations are now open for the 27th Edition of the Caminhos do Cinema Português Festival. Between the 1st of January and the 15th of September, the works for the Caminhos Selection, Essays Selection and Other Looks may be submitted via FilmFreeway. Until May 31, all national film registrations will be free.

    Light From Space is a virtual platform for artists working with experimental processes to create moving and still images that portray light as an object. On the summer solstice (June 20th), we will be celebrating and thanking the Sun for its warmth and light. Submit experimental films and videos to be featured in a live screening, as well as hosted on the Light From Space website. Work must be submitted digitally, either a video or image file.
