Marienbad Film Festival 2022

The Marienbad Film Festival, a Mariánské Lázně (CZ) based international film festival focusing on experimental and independent works, calls for submissions of experimental and independent films, audio visual essays or moving image works, completed and in progress, from all over the world. Selected projects will be presented in a non-competitive Forum Marienbad section. This section aims primarily at increasing the awareness of marginal forms of cinema and presenting contemporary moving image projects and works, both completed and in progress, from all over the world. No less important aim of this section is to create a space for discussion with authors, situation permitting.

The 7th edition of the festival will take place from July 7th to 10th.
Submission deadline: April 30th, 2022.

    Marienbad Film Festival aspires to become the only Czech film festival dedicated primarily to the discovery of new filmmaking approaches in domestic and world cinema. For Mariánské Lázně locals and outside visitors the program also provides the unique experience of large-screen projections of classical cinematography in the picturesque settings of the spa town.
