  • Blitz #27: Economía/Ecología

    By on

El chamán yanomami  David Kopenawa nos enseña en su libro La Caída del Cielo -escrito junto a Bruce Albers-, que el cielo ya se cayó una vez y que si no bailamos para los xapiri, el cielo volverá a caer. • Aldo Tambellini - The Black TV Project (1969-2019)

    By on

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Aldo Tambellini’s legendary Black TV, the multimedia pioneer presents a new installation realized by re-editing hundreds of hours of his experimental mixed-media works in a site-specific Electromedia environment. Born of a complex, stratified experience, in which the images became a further subject in the critical investigation of the American social and political reality, Black TV is a monumental operation of aesthetic synthesis of the Intermedia era.

  • Brainbows: Rainer Kohlberger Live A/V

    By on

Rainer Kohlberger uses digital-projection technology in a radical way. Through impulses and waves of pure light, the intentional overload of the human perception apparatus leads to visual impressions that appear exclusively in the literal »eye of the beholder«. Layers of noise, drones and stroboscopic lights unfold a sense of the infinite as well as the very now. Image surface and image space meld into one (consciousness-)state, in which categories such as being and non-being, material and immaterial appear obsolete.
