Videoex is Switzerland's largest festival dedicated to experimental film and video. Over the course of ten days (21-29 May 2022 in Zurich City), Videoex shows films and videos beyond conventional narrative cinema: experimental, visually surprising, conceptually unexpected or controversially political films and videos on the threshold between visual art and film.

Wide Open Experimental Film Festival

The first annual Wide Open Experimental Film Festival will be taking place at Rodeo Cinema on Film Row (701 W Sheridan Ave) in Oklahoma City, OK April 9 + 10.

Free admission to all programs.

Programs begin at 2:30 and 4:45 both days.

Entre el 21 y el 24 de octubre se celebra en La Casa Encendida de Madrid la séptima edición del Festival She Makes Noise, un festival dedicado a la música electrónica y el audiovisual contemporáneo con perspectiva de género, comisariado por Playtime Audiovisuales.

Esta edición mira a otras latitudes que enriquecen la diversidad del audiovisual, como las que emergen desde el sudeste asiático a través de ritmos experimentales basados en las distopias del coronavirus. Y también da cabida a los entes más fluidos en torno a estas prácticas artísticas.
