2020 Transient Visions: Call for Entries

We are excited to announce the eighth edition of Transient Visions: Festival of the Moving Image, which will take place on October 23 & 24, 2020 at Spool Contemporary Art Space in Johnson City, NY. We now look for submissions of short films and videos (less than 20 min. and made in 2019 & 2020) from emerging and established artists/filmmakers across the globe.

The entry deadline is July 15, 2020.

The first edition of Seek the sun, online experimental film festival, will present "young creation" (from 20 to 72 years old) on its own website, whose address will be disclosed, June 1st at 17:00 ; a surprise film will be released in live on the FB page of Seek the sun. Stay tuned !

Anthology Film Archives and Screen Slate co-presenting the premiere of Ken Jacobs "MOVIE THAT INVITES PAUSING".

In addition to MOVIE... (24 min), they will also screen "Things to Come" (35 min), with a pre-show of recent Eternalism gifs. Afterwards, Ken will be joined by Anthology archivist John Klacsmann for a live chat.

Online edition of the 8th Experimental Film Festival Kinodot started on May 21 and will go on till May 26. Five programs will be available for watching at kinodot.org, each program can be viewed for 24 hours. There is a new program each day, though some films will remain available until the end of the festival.
