Chicago Seen (A Community Event Produced by Chicago Filmmakers)
We are seeking work produced in the Chicago area or made by local filmmakers to screen as part of the Chicago Seen Screening Series. Films of ALL genres are welcome to submit— insane comedies, touching dramas, high-energy music videos, odd animation, hot topic documentaries, neighborhood portraits, and any mind-expanding experimental visions.
MA/IN is an international festival devoted to experimental film and video, aiming at investigate the relationship between image and sound. The mission of MA/IN is to provide local and regional audiences with an opportunity to view a wide variety of contemporary experimental works, focused on artistic excellence, different styles, forms, and nationalities.
We are looking for videos which are at the intersection of bad art, bad painting and bad cinema. We propose to study extreme forms of video art and single out certain video art works as bad videos or “B-videos”. Join us if you are interested in the issue of quality and boundaries of art.
