This year, as we mark 100 years since the prophetic visions of Metropolis heralded the Technocene, we invite artists to synchronize their creativity and freedom with a futuristic-industrial flair Venue. Digital and hybrid artists from around the globe, are invited to showcase the symbiosis of human and machine, art and industry, past and future.
The 15th edition of the (S8) Mostra de Cinema Periférico (A Coruña, Spain) will start with an homage to the late American filmmaker Kenneth Anger, a renowned figure in occult and esoteric themes on film. The festival's image draws inspiration from Tarot cards like The Magician, Strength, and The Wheel of Fortune - symbols that connect to Anger's exploration of magic and mysticism.

This programme is a survey of some of Stephen Littman's videos alongside sequences from the work of David Larcher (1942-2023) that Littman has compiled. Larcher was a maverick filmmaker whose epic work includes the legendary Mare's Tail (1969) and Monkey's Birthday (1975). Larcher sought Littman's advice when he moved from filmmaking to video in the early 1980s.
