the III international congress revueltas del arte to be held at the centro cultura borges and other venues, will host the pre-launch of the book aspiro al gran laberinto y otros pasajes de hélio oiticica, co-edited by .txt texto de cinema and libros UNA.  

on this occasion, gonzalo aguilar will give a brief presentation about the book and provide a contextualization of hélio oiticica's trajectory during the period (1954-1974) covered by the publication, with a special emphasis on his stay in New York, his relationship with the underground context, experimental cinema, and latinxs living and producing in the city. 

afterwards, the artist and translator of hélio's texts, carla lombardo, will offer a brief reflection on the operations and decisions used in the lengthy research and translation process.

as a closing act, we will screen hélio oiticica's film agripina is roma-manhattan in digital copy, which was kindly provided by projeto hélio oiticica.
