    The 2nd edition of the Moscow International Experimental Film Festival stands on a ground stone laid in by the first run in July 2016, which has been moulded by the strong support of our multifaceted jury board, collaboration with an array of outsourced talent, gratifying (in both quality and scale) response of the press in Russia and abroad, but most importantly – the engagement of a wider creative young audience with this minor and brave approach in seeing things differently in film.

    Process is the first experimental film festival in The Baltics dedicated to experimental, analog filmmaking. Taking place on the 22nd to 25th of March in Riga, Latvia, the festival will provide four days of intensive program consisting of film screenings, talks, discussions, lectures and expanded cinema performances. We welcome the submission of experimental short films where the use of celluloid has been part of the filmmaking process.

  • 4º Festival Internacional de Video Experimental Proceso de Error

    Organizado por INVE Plataforma Experimental de Artes, el Festival Proceso de Error se ha consolidado como un evento único en Chile que promueve la investigación, realización y difusión del video experimental a nivel internacional. Su cuarta versión, financiada por el Fondo Audiovisual del CNCA, convocatoria 2017, se realizará en del 18 al 21 de abril en Valparaíso.

    El 2016, Proceso de Error recibió más de 600 trabajos provenientes de 48 países diferentes, tales como Ucrania, Irán, Japón, Sudáfrica, Ecuador e Irlanda, entre otros. Para este año, el certamen invita a artistas y realizadores a compartir su sensibilidad autoral a través de la creación de videos en las categorías no competitivas de Video Arte, Video Danza, Video Performance, Documental Creativo y Animación Experimental

    The Winnipeg Underground Film Festival is an annual showcase for contemporary experimental film + video, presented by Open City Cinema in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The next festival will take place June 2 - 4, 2017.

    WUFF is seeking new and engaging moving-image works that deviate from traditional cinematic forms (whatever that means). Stronger consideration will be given to works under 20 minutes, and to those completed in 2015 or later, but exceptions may be made in both cases. If you think your movie is suited for our show, we'd like to see it; if you aren't sure, please check out our previous years' programs.
