The TRANSFER Architecture Video Award is an independent award, to be launched in 2019, to recognise the most creative and innovative short films in the field of architecture, city and landscape worldwide.Video is becoming increasingly instrumental in analysing architecture and the human environment, and is directly related to the digital networks that underpin contemporary communication. With the TRANSFER Architecture Video Award, we aim to highlight the contributions that best represent new means of knowledge and analysis of architecture using video as a support.
Marienbad Film Festival aspires to become the only Czech film festival dedicated primarily to the discovery of new filmmaking approaches in domestic and world cinema. For Mariánské Lázně locals and outside visitors the program also provides the unique experience of large-screen projections of classical cinematography in the picturesque settings of the spa town. The festival is punctuated by a rich accompanying program.

City, Essay, Film is a series of discussions and screenings hosted by UCL Urban Laboratory to examine the concept and practice of the ‘urban essay film’.
This innovative collection plays in the gray, showcasing works on the cusp of multiple genres. Beyond mere documentary, these works astutely blend aspects of narrative, animation, comedy, or the avant-garde into markedly nontraditional frameworks.

Engauge, an experimental film festival based in Seattle, WA, and now in its second year, invites you to submit your work originating on film. Engauge was founded to highlight and augment the Lightpress Grants. Offered twice yearly by our primary sponsor, the Interbay Cinema Society, Lightpress Grants help filmmakers with the funding to professionally digitize their films. In keeping with our mission, “Engauge” will consider only films that began on celluloid.
