In Process highlights performance-based and site-oriented work from different eras since the 1970s. Launched in October 2020, the first season of the streaming series features a weekly rotating presentation of 2 to 3 artists/artist groups. With the San Francisco Bay Area as a point of departure, the online streaming format presents the opportunity to share and study a selection of films and videos. This series includes performances staged for the camera, performance or installation documentation, and film elements that may have been part of a larger live piece. Several titles have been digitized by the artists in recent years and rarely publicly shared.
