This weekend, Pugnant Fim Series will be at Votanikos at an abandoned furniture place, to close it's summer screenings on the public space, the screenings which begun from Alepotrypa and continued to another unique five site specific locations. The best away to close these screenings, is with a retrospective to Keja Ho Kramer, a filmmaker that celebrates the diy, independent and auteur cinema. Keja Ho Kramer will be in presence for this retrospective. 

Keja Ho Kramer has made over a dozen videos since 1998, she shows in international film festivals as well as galleries and museums. She has collaborated with artists as Stephen Dwoskin, Boris Lehman, τη Myriam Gourfin, Robert Kramer and more. She studied photography at The School of Visual Arts in NY, vidéo and film at Le Fresnoy studio National des arts Contemporains in Roubaix, France and most recently at Bela Tarr's Film Factory in Sarajevo.. What she looks at, investigates/observes subtle nature, the patterns of the sea, stones, leaves, trees, life pulsing breathing everywhere around; Life decaying in quiet majestic nobility. Wether she uses a still camera, video, brush, musical instrument and words the essence is presence. A relationship to time and the subtle variations of elements repeating and transforming outside. Deciphering these patterns as messages from nature through vigilant observation such as a scientist tends to find meaning in research. Pugnant Film Series will present 7 of her films, also her newest film Dazzling Shadows, in a world premiere.

Sunday, except her movies, in our program will be also two music performances. Giannis Arapis and Themis Vasiliou will perform with their guitars the work of Βασιλάραψ, an unknown composer who born at Syros and had Ethiopian roots. We don't know anything else for him. Ate the closing of the night the show belongs to art rap duo ΤΑ ΟΣΑ, a music performance with raps, vocals and a lot of street culture.
