IndieCork Film Festival 2021 will feature 4 new experimental short films by Arran Tenzin Bradstock in a Special Programme entitled ‘FRAMERATES & Other Works’. Arran, originally from Baile Bhúirne in Cork, Ireland, is a filmmaker and studying for a PhD in Music at UCC. This is the fifth time his work has appeared in IndieCork, and he has also shown work at other festivals such as Fastnet Film Festival, Kerry Film Festival, and Luminous Void Experimental Film Festival.

The selected films, FRAMERATES, November 2020, [sync] I & [sync] II, were made in Cork and Dublin throughout the past year and showcase Arran’s approach to non-narrative filmmaking that gives equal importance to sounds and images. The films combine video and field recordings of the everyday world in a collage of impressions and half-glimpsed moments: viewing and hearing our world through this lens, the films offer an invitation for an audiovisual experience of dreamlike abstraction.
