On the occasion of the release of the collaborative experimental film of Metavilla videomaton, Les Colonnes invite the time of a night to an artistic meeting questioning the current digital practices. In 2018, the city of Blanquefort appealed to the Metavilla studio to imagine an innovative project that could educate young and old about digital practices and cultures. From this partnership is born the video metavilla, a video booth, which the Blanquefortais massively used for a whole year to become actors and participate in the creative adventure of a collaborative film. This, accompanied by workshops, mediation and sensitization, questions the relationship we have with the images, their messages and their future. Questioning the different atmospheres of this other world in the making, this film will be presented on Saturday, December 14th at the cinema Les Colonnes at the opening of the festival AMBIANCE, art and digital practice. All the participants of this event, by their singular digital practices explore the "becoming-world". They show dizzily media, informational, bodily, emotional, fictional, social and geographical spaces. Through social networks, by this gift of ubiquity to be everywhere in the world, by geolocation and by technical and digital applications, they reveal other possibilities and tensions that are emerging. Always in a tense flow, the current digital practices are similar to the baïnes that carry off an individual transforming his natural living space into a disembodied and hostile environment: human de-identification for the benefit of a digital life, standardized hyper-social solicitation, pollution of all informational spheres and therefore of the mind. Thus the rapid evolution of this progress (which is an oxymoron) brings with it submerged worlds, see drowned and asphyxiated by these new artificialities difficult to apprehend. What is the ethical and aesthetic (aesthetic) part of this becoming-world? In the era of these digital practices that dictate our way of being, of doing and of undoing the world, how to create another world in our world? How to bring out by art and digital practices new spaces capable of showing, protecting and welcoming the world of life that is disappearing? These new spaces will highlight the current technological changes that will define the future of art and culture with its advances but also its inconvenience. This is the essence of these mutations.
