OPEN CALL BIDFF #7 - SHORT DANCE FILMS

Filmmakers, dance artists, animators, visual artists and digital art makers are invited by BIDFF - Bucharest International Dance Film Festival (September 1-5, Bucharest, Romania) to submit their works for the competitional section of the festival. 

BIDFF is looking for its competitional section for short dance films produced in the last two years that do not exceed 20 minutes in length and have a minimum quality of Full HD (1080p), that can be either live action or animation in genres of fiction, documentary or experimental, in the genres of dance film, screendance, dance for camera, musical, animation, fiction or documentary about the body or the world of dance, experimental shorts conceptually oriented around the idea of movement.

The theme of the seventh edition of BIDFF - “Potential Worlds” invites artists and audiences alike to imagine the future of art as a dynamic ecosystem that incorporates new elements and mutations.

Filmmakers can submit their works through the Filmfreeway platform (https://filmfreeway.com/bidff2021) until June 25th (regular deadline) or July 16th (late deadline). More details about the open call on www.bidff.ro 

All applicants will be informed about the outcome of their submission by August 1st 2021.
