– expanded cinema performances.
Sunday, September 3, 2023 (all day)
The call is open to any work made on celluloid (35 mm, 16mm, Super 8, found footage…)
The films have to be recent (made in 2020 and after)
Screening formats: 35 mm, 16mm, Super 8, digital. Preference will be given to film prints.
Concerning installations and performances, due to organization issues, send your proposals as soon as possible !
This year’s edition will be crossed by reflection around “Earth Community – Plant/Mineral/Animal – Thinking and acting with nature – Human/non-human interrelations – Cosmovisions”.
Installations will be selected exclusively on these thematics.
No submission fees, no competition.
For the selected films, Mire will cover the costs of shipping and some screening fees at a flat rate of 5€ per minute (with a minimum of 30€ for films under 6mins). Mire offers a PRISME pass to filmmakers whose films are selected, but will not be able to take in charge travel costs or hosting.
