Peripheries is an experimental film/video festival that seeks to create an environment for experimental media artists to present radical works that defy categorization, and to be a podium for original thought within our experimental film/video community. Peripheries is a non-competitive festival.
Awards & Prizes
Peripheries is a non-competitive festival. No prizes will be given, though accepted films will be offered a screening fee that is made up of the cumulative screening fees accrued. The screening fee amount is dictated by how many projects are submitted to the festival.
Rules & Terms
Submission Guidelines: works created from 2020 to today are eligible for submission. If your film precedes these dates, it may also be submitted if it has not had an official screening. If this is the case, please denote this in the screening history field.
If you are an artist who is interested in a screening of a collection of works, works that predate 2019 are acceptable. Please email Submissions.Peri[email protected] with proposals.
Artists who submit proposals for collected works screenings may also submit a regular submission. Both will be judged respectively.
If submitting a work that features voice or text in a language other than English, please be sure to include a subtitle track, if necessary.
