Short Circuit show thought-provoking short films that have their roots in documentary. Now well established our themed screenings in Brighton invite emerging, established and award winning artists and filmmakers to share their often unconventional approaches to documentary storytelling.

We are seeking submissions for ON PERFORMANCE an Autumn screening of experimental short films that draw attention to the trials and triumphs, vision and execution of 'the performance' in all its contrasting and unexpected guises.

From performances in sport and on stage, to individual challenges and everyday rituals how do we examine the attraction, preparation and achievements of performance and the performative act?
