Information:
The contest Vidéographies [21] aims to develop contemporary creation and to support the passage of young artists (student or new graduates) active in the fields of the cinema, television, audio-visual arts and digital images to the professional environment. As Exprmntl did in the past, the contest will celebrate the most original and creative steps. Experimental visual research, experimentation, new images, new glances, new contents, new writings (visual, narrative, cross and multi media) are encouraged.
The festival will take place in Liege in Spring 2010.
Projects must fit in one of these three categories (an international competition and two national)
1. Films and video (International)
2. Cross and multi media broadcast concept (Belgium)
3. Installations (with moving images) (Belgium)
The files must be written in French or English and the films or the installations in foreign language must be subtitled in French.
Documents required by postal mail before November 15th, 2009:
For Films and video category
- A file including a nomination grid, a CV, a statement of intent and authorizations of diffusion and filing (documents to be downloaded: www.videographies.be).
- Video on dvd (If the project is selected, the video will have to be returned on Mini DV)
For the Cross and multi media broadcast concept
- A file including a nomination grid, a CV, a statement of intent and authorizations of diffusion and filing (documents to be downloaded: www.videographies.be).
- The detailed project of the concept, with some images or explanatory sketches, and any other relevant document.
For the Installation category
- A file including a nomination grid, a CV, a statement of intent and authorizations of diffusion and filing (documents to be downloaded: www.videographies.be).
- The detailed project of the installation, with some images or explanatory sketches, and any other relevant document.
