This issue is entirely dedicated to an exquisite corpse film initiated by artist Sapphire Goss during the first lockdown and made in collaboration with 23 artists and filmmakers from around the world.

To celebrate the occasion they are presenting a series of online events throughout the month, including free screenings, live Q&As and the publication of new essays on their work by Richard Ashrowan, William Fowler, Nadin Mai, and Nikola Gocić.

Walking In Circles with Daniel & Clara

A guided virtual-walk along the route Daniel & Clara take daily around Mersea Island with reflections on the impact that place has on our creative practice and how this has changed during lockdown. This presentation will be part artist talk, part live performance in which the inner and outer experiences of landscape seamlessly blend.

Moving Image Artists Journal - Issue 1

It is with great pleasure that Moving Image Artists launches the first ever issue of Moving Image Artists Journal – an online publication dedicated to contemporary moving image art and experimental film.

This issue is entirely dedicated to the 2019 edition of the Slow Film Festival (SFF) which took place in the village of Mayfield, UK last October.
