The boo launching event, scheduled to happen from 3pm BRT on, proposes a sharing of the Bcubico experiment and the process of making the material — the QR code of the event’s poster links the e-book .

In activity in Recife between 2011 and 2015, the Bcubico if configured as important field of exhibition and sharing of art forms contemporary, also interested for the image in movement, in regards to the experimental cinema, videoarte and other expressions.

"This book is a manifest echo of the dynamics of space as a field of experience, but also a place of excellence in presentations through texts, testimonials, stories, and photos,” as Barrus points out.

This humble homage to Jonas Mekas will take place at Modern Art Museum Cinemateque's - Rio de Janeiro (26.04) and at Centro Cultural do Banco do Brasil (CCBB) - São Paulo (05.05), as  part of LABAS - Lithuanian Culture Festival held at Ema Klabin Foundation in partnership with Lithuanian Consulate in São Paulo and the Lithuanian-Brazilian community.

Frame & Frequency 3 is an ongoing International Video Art Exchange program that will screen concurrently in Rockville, Maryland at VisArts and at PLECTO Galeria in Medellin, Colombia. The opening is on Friday May 12th until June 11th from 7-9 PM at VisArts in Rockville, MD.

It will highlight the work of 8 international artists from Brazil to Greece to Belgium and from across North America, whose new media, experimental film and video works explore contemporary visual culture, and presents an intimate panorama of the variety and breadth of video art in artistic practice today - including various themes such as appropriation, identity politics as well formal investigations of video as a medium.
