 The second edition of Márgenes ('A collection of abandoned futures'), to be held in Madrid from the 25th to the 29th of May will feature five programmes of Irish, Portuguese and Spanish experimental film and video. Works by filmmakers/videocreators such as Vivienne Dick, Eugeni Bonet, Fregus Daly, Vasco Lucena, Maximilian Le Cain and Oriol Sánchez, among many others, that will serve as a prologue to talks with guest filmmakers and curators from the three countries. The round table 'Decentered. Other(s) history(ies) of experimental film' will complement the screenings and try to offer an alternative to the experimental film 'canon'. |
