News from the (not so) far side of the world. Iran's Center for the Development of Documentary and Experimental Cinema, affiliated to the Ministry of Culture has plans for promoting and pursuing the production of short and feature animation films. This center has pruduced about 14 films in the last three months, covering issues as religion, literature, nuclear energy and the eighties' Iran-Iraq war. What will the country that made the world's first animation make?
