  • Yoni Fest 2018 Call for Entries

    YONI FEST 2018 CALL FOR ENTRIES NOW OPEN!

    Submit films up to 15 min in duration, any genre welcome. Films must include a female or female identifying person in a major role i.e. Writer, Producer, Director, Cinematographer.&

    Yoni Fest 2018 will be hosted at the Echo Park Film Center in Los Angeles, CA on November 10th, 2018. Contestants will be notified of their acceptance in mid October.

  • Avvistamenti: OJOBOCA - Some Common Fascinations

    On 27 and 28 July, starting at 9pm, as part of the 16th edition of Avvistamenti is (not) a Festival, organized by Cineclub Canudo and directed by Antonio Musci and Daniela Di Niso, realized with the support of the Department of Tourism and Cultural Industry of the Puglia Region, there will be a solo exhibition on OJOBOCA, entitled Some Common Fascinations, curated by Giuseppe Boccassini.

  • The Moving Image Catalog / Guest curator: Julio Fermepín

    The Moving Image Catalog's next guest curator will be Julio Fermepín, whose selection of experimental films - entitled BEYOND THE FOREST - will be published online from Monday 23rd to Sunday 29th July.

    Julio Fermepín is an Argentinian filmmaker and teacher. Since 2005 he has made several experimental films which have been shown at numerous international venues, including L'Age d’Or (Belgium) and the Oberhausen Short Film Festival (Germany). His most recent film is Corriente.

  • Obscuritads in Paris (July 27th & 28th)

    The Obscuritads Collective(Scott Barley, Mikel Guillen and Sebastian Wiedemann) will present a selection of their works at La Générale (Avenue Parmentier 14, 75011 Paris) next July 27th & 28th at 19h (free entrance)

    The screening will be introduced by critic and programmer Boris Monneau. The programme has been curated by critic and scriptwriter Miquel Escudero.
