  • New episode of experimental podcast 'Into the Mothlight.'

    The new episode of experimental film podcast Into the Mothlight features an interview with Scottish artist filmmakers Mark Lyken and Emma Dove.  They discuss their work, approach to collaboration, the importance of immersing themselves in the place they are filming and their new project 1300 Shots.   • Magda Fernandez: "Through Immigrant Eyes"

    Microscope is very pleased to present an online screening of video works by Boston-based artist Magda Fernandez.

    The program includes a selection of 13 short videos made by Fernandez between 2006 and 2020 offering a comprehensive look into her videography. In these works, often conceptual and resting on her reflections on her own identity as a Cuban-American, the artist performs in various disguises and roles against moving-image backdrops of original or found footage.

  • REAKTOR International Film Festival

    With its third edition REAKTOR will be presenting films from all over the world. Four days of screenings will display hidden jewels, rebels without a cause, monstrous abysses, heartbreaking beauty. Three awards honour filmmakers in fundamental elements of film - script, cut and direction.
