    The CALL FOR ENTRIES for the 19th edition of the Videonale is open and we cordially invite artists and filmmakers, distributors, universities and galleries worldwide to submit their works for the competition.

    The VIDEONALE.19 competition is open to all types of experimental time-based artistic works - single and multi-channel video, video installations, performances, sound art and virtual reality.

  • Cérémonie 16mm / K. Anger * K. Bauer / Gran Lux

    Katherine Bauer was born in Houston, Texas, and has recently been living in France. She mainly works with 16mm film and its plastic potential in the context of sculptures, installations and films. Mythologies, folklores, obscure rites, its sources of inspiration find their forms thanks to the photochemical runes. Herschell Gordon Lewis would not have denied Psycho Pussy Slaughter, a video film she made in 2007.

    Videoex is Switzerland's largest festival dedicated to experimental film and video.   • Tune in to Green - Exhibition Six

    Tune in to Green - Exhibition Six features micro-short films and sound pieces by experimental and expanded documentary makers around the globe. Themes such as Spring, care, motherhood, and femininity are presented in a myriad of forms and colors from 2D and 3D animation, 16mm film, video with effects, dance, to performance.

    This is the first Tune in to Green short film exhibition to be shown both in a live screening and online.
