  • IndieCork Film Festival: Arran Tenzin Bradstock

    IndieCork Film Festival 2021 will feature 4 new experimental short films by Arran Tenzin Bradstock in a Special Programme entitled ‘FRAMERATES & Other Works’. Arran, originally from Baile Bhúirne in Cork, Ireland, is a filmmaker and studying for a PhD in Music at UCC. This is the fifth time his work has appeared in IndieCork, and he has also shown work at other festivals such as Fastnet Film Festival, Kerry Film Festival, and Luminous Void Experimental Film Festival.

  • Dobra Festival: pre-launch of the book Bcubico

    In activity in Recife between 2011 and 2015, the Bcubico if configured as important field of exhibition and sharing of art forms contemporary, also interested for the image in movement, in regards to the experimental cinema, videoarte and other expressions.

    "This book is a manifest echo of the dynamics of space as a field of experience, but also a place of excellence in presentations through texts, testimonials, stories, and photos,” as Barrus points out.

  • Corporeal Fluidity, Linguistic Flesh: Early Films by Lana Lin and one by Lin + Lam

    Microscope is very pleased to present an online evening of moving image works by New York-based artist Lana Lin, organized by Morrison Gong. The program includes a selection of seven short works by Lin — including a collaboration with H. Lan Thao Lam — made between 1992 and 2005 on both 16mm film and digital video.
