    Analog film screening of 11 poetic 16mm short films by Patrick Müller with optical sound + world premiere of the new Saint-Exupéry adaptation "L'hiver de l'éternité" ("The Winter of Eternity") with live music. The language of the event is German.

    Music: Ensemble C and Uwe Rottluff (WellenVorm) Film scholar Stefan Jung introduces the two Lovecraft films. Joint event of the Friends of the Freunde der Kunstsammlungen Chemnitz e.V. and the Musikverein Chemnitz e.V.

  • Open Call 2022 8 Video Festival nodoCCS

    Video as art opens portals to other realities and to the experiences of others.

The 8th nodoCCS Video Festival returns to its on-site proposal in the city of Caracas, reaffirming its intention to "sustain and inhabit spaces" to generate encounters in a fragmented world.

The experience of the past years inspired us to go beyond the exhibition space and expand the physical locations of our projections, to generate global dynamics, new ways of collaborating and above all to articulate our work to this new reality.

  • A Synesthete's Atlas - Eric Theise & Kyle Bruckmann

    An evening of real-time cartographic improvisations using projected, manipulated digital maps by Eric Theise, directed and accompanied by genre-trampling oboist Kyle Bruckmann. Expect a visual wash of street grids, land masses, bodies of water, and curiosities from the built environment. Saturated colors and subtle tints. Sounds symphonic and screeching. The flicker film as wayfinding device. Orphaned information and untethered symbology.

  • Keja Ho Kramer retrospective

    This weekend, Pugnant Fim Series will be at Votanikos at an abandoned furniture place, to close it's summer screenings on the public space, the screenings which begun from Alepotrypa and continued to another unique five site specific locations. The best away to close these screenings, is with a retrospective to Keja Ho Kramer, a filmmaker that celebrates the diy, independent and auteur cinema. Keja Ho Kramer will be in presence for this retrospective.

  • Luna Park Dutch Trip - Gerard Holthuis retrospective

    (french version below)LUNA PARK DUTCH TRIP▎retrospective GERARD HOLTHUISGerard Holthuis (1952) started out as a sculptor and moved into moving image and sound at the Free Academy in The Hague. In the 1980s he worked as an editor, cameraman and production manager. He co-founded the Filmstad Foundation, a workshop for experimental filmmakers. A globetrotter, he is a fan of fairground cinema.In France, we only know the first and last films of this retrospective. Seen, seen again and again. They are hits.
