    To all artists interested in cinematic performance and working with outdoor spaces !

    In the context of SPECTRAL, Mire is launching the open call for a month-long residency dedicated to the creation of cinematic performances, utilizing the film medium, for public spaces in a harbor and coastal environment.

    This second residency will be held between  the 2nd and 29th of September 2024 in Saint-Nazaire, FR in collaboration with the Projet Neuf

  • WNDX 2024 Call for Entries

    The WNDX Festival of Moving Image is now accepting submissions for its 19th edition, to be held Oct 2-6, 2024. 

    Based in Winnipeg, Canada, the WNDX Festival of Moving Image is a five-day experimental film festival held yearly in early October. WNDX has been lovingly cared for by Winnipeg and prairie-region filmmakers and curators since 2005.

    WNDX predominantly programs short films through this open call for submissions.

  • Confessional: Short films by Narcisa Hirsch

    The third program in the monthly Confessional. Map of experimental voices section, curated by avant-garde filmmaker Pablo Marín, will be dedicated to a series of pieces made by Narcisa Hirsch, of a more personal nature.

  • Open Call: Bucharest International Experimental Film Festival 2024

    Co-founded by Golden Bear winning director Adina Pintilie in 2010, Bucharest International Experimental Film Festival is an annual event dedicated to experimental films and visual arts. BIEFF aims to promote highly innovative films and filmmakers with strong personal views on contemporary reality, which also daringly explore the boundaries of cinematic language.
