After 43 years publishing writers from around the world, Orlando-based literary journal, The Florida Review has a new online platform, Aquifer: The Florida Review Online. With this new site The Florida Review aims toexpand the scope of its publications to include visual art and new media formats. Aquifer is pleased to announce a rolling call for submissions of film and video work for longterm online publication.
The Chicago Underground Film Festival, the longest running underground film festival in the world, is an internationally recognized program providing a venue for documentary, experimental and avant-garde narrative film and video. The festival’s mission is to select and screen film, video and related works presenting a diverse line up of moving image programming focusing on filmmakers working to reinvent and explore new approaches to established practices, to foster new forms of media art and to build an audience for such work.

2018 Istanbul International Experimental Film Festival is the first showcase of avant-garde and experimental cinema in Turkey. It is led by a group of artists who aim to change the landscape of cinema in Istanbul through filmmaking and networking. We hope to create a platform that allows artists and filmmakers to produce and showcase works for aesthetic and philosophical purposes rather than for profit.
The 15th edition of AVANT: Doing Haut and Pope. Loophole Cinema and More is a revisit to the British collective Loophole Cinema and their film actions from the 90s. In addition, three separate film programs by Karel Doing, Bea Haut and Greg Pope are being shown including some other films by former members of Loophole Cinema.
